European Programs - Erasmus Mundus


The European Erasmus program included in the field of Higher Education and aims to improve the quality of education and strengthening the European dimension by encouraging transnational cooperation between higher education institutions. It offers the possibility of mobility between partner institutions for students, teachers and other staff at the 31 participating countries.

The Erasmus program addresses for students and teachers, higher education institutions, teachers, trainers and other staff within those institutions, associations and representatives of stakeholders in higher education, businesses, public and private institutions, research centers, organizations that provide advice, information and guidance on any aspect of lifelong learning.
 
The program brings together the 27 member countries of the European Union, the 3 countries of the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Turkey.

Erasmus Actions: The following actions can be supported by the Erasmus:

a) individual mobility. Mobility may include:

  • student mobility
  • mobility of teaching staff
  • mobility of other staff
  • intensive programs Erasmus

b) Key actions:

  • multilateral projects,
  • multilateral networks,
  • other initiatives aimed at promoting the objectives of Erasmus. 

 
Participants in the mobility as «students Erasmus» must belong to one of the following categories:

  • students in higher education institutions (holders of the University Charter Erasmus) who should be enrolled in at least the second year,
  • students enrolled in joint programs of postgraduate studies (Master) and participate in mobility
  • students in higher education institutions involved in placements.
